孟買鮮菇雞肉湯/ Mumbai mushroom chicken soup

印度香濃番茄湯 Indian tomato soup

雞肉、香菇的鮮味都被保留在湯裡,清淡但香氣十足。

This is a very simple yet richly mushroom flavored chicken soup. Just a combination of chicken, mushrooms, a touch of salt and other spices magically turns the soup into a sweet dream.

番茄湯喝起來有種特殊的香料味,不會有其他餐廳賣的那種鐵罐番茄味。

We often have similar experience like having a hard time finishing the condensed tomato soup with an iron smell? Fortunately, this tomato soup tastes not bad, also, the spices give the soup an exotic flavor which is nice.

appetizer 開胃菜

瑪薩拉蔬菜脆薄片 Masala charpati with seasoned vegetables

混有香料的薄餅很香脆,跟與孜然調味過的洋蔥、小黃瓜、番茄一起吃很開胃。有種印度版本的玉米片沾salsa的錯覺。

Basically, in Hindi word, Masala means the mixture of various spices. Charpati are really crispy and with nice flavor as you can see there's cumin spread. On the Charpati is various well-seasoned vegetables like onions, cucumbers, and tomatoes.

蔬菜黃金餃 Vegetable Samosa

No Indian can refuse these pyramid-shaped crispy pastry. The filling is mashed potatoes with curry flavor and various spices like cumin.

Samosa 是印度隨處可見的特色小吃,外層金黃酥脆的麵皮裹著內餡是咖哩口味的馬鈴薯泥、青豆、小茴香和洋蔥。

招牌坦都雞肉塊(搭配蔬菜醬) Chicken Tikka with Vegetable Dip

Chicken Tikka is a dish of roasted chicken marinated in spices and yogurt, then baked in a tandoor oven. It doesn't taste too salty since there's sour vegetable sauce to balance it.

坦都雞肉的做法是在香料跟優格調製的醬汁中醃製,並拿到坦都式烤爐中烘烤出迷人香氣。吃起來蠻特別的,因為有生菜和蔬菜醬的平衡讓這道菜不會顯得太鹹。

紅醬奶油雞肉咖哩 Butter Chicken (murgh mahal)

The sweetness and sourness of classic red sauce goes perfectly with tender butter chicken. Taste really great when you dip it with naan.

紅醬的酸甜與雞肉咖哩本身搭配的很不錯,配上一旁的烤餅更是一絕~

黃醬印度羊肉咖哩 Indian lamb Yellow Curry (Korma)

Mild, creamy, yellow korma sauce. Classic yet the lamb is a little bit overcooked.

羊肉有點老,不過搭配著烤餅吃也還不錯。

烤餅 Naan

A leavened flatbread.

蒜味烤餅 Garlic Naan

The naan is really chewy. Smells good with fresh garlic flavor. Recommend to eat it with curry sauce.

烤餅口感扎實,香氣十足,咀嚼時大蒜及其它香料的香氣彷彿在口齒間纏綿。可以沾上上述介紹的咖哩沾醬一同食用。

印度甩餅 Roti

It's the thin version of Naan, very chewy as well.

甩餅吃起來就像更薄的烤餅,沒那麼扎實,但口感還是很Q,咀嚼起來有一股麵粉清香。

印度牛奶小米粥 Rice Kheer

Kheer is like a rice pudding with various fresh spices with milk and sugar. Flavored with cardamom, raisins, saffron, cashews, pistachios or almonds.

非常特別的甜點,主要是由煮熟的米、大麥、及木薯加上牛奶和一些糖與香料調味製成。上面還加上堅果、葡萄乾等,口感十分具有層次。

Fennel candies are kind of a mouth freshener for Indian. Put them in your palm with the tiny spoon and put them into your mouth, chew them.
